About us

Associate member of Guernsey Alzheimer Association (GAA).

Objectives: To provide dementia training for professional staff and dementia awareness sessions for carers at home looking after relatives with dementia, business people who may come into contact with residents with dementia and members of the general public who are interested in helping to make Alderney a dementia friendly island. These activities are paid for by raising funds by holding events.

A volunteer programme has been started to befriend those who may be struggling alone or to help carers deliver care to a loved one.
