Healing Music Trust (The)

The Healing Music Trust brings live music to people in our community who might otherwise struggle to access it, but who can particularly profit from its physical, emotional and social benefits. To do this we bring specially trained musicians from the UK to deliver music sessions in local residential homes, hospital wards, day centres and with groups of children and adults with additional needs. The musicians are specially selected for their ability to communicate, adapt and engage with diverse audiences ranging from 5 to 105.

We aim to deliver around 150 music sessions per year, split into five "tours" each lasting about a fortnight. Each tour reaches an estimated 8-900 people.
