About this Fundraising Event
I'm Theo, age 16 and a keen runner.
At the end of this summer, Theo will be taking on his biggest running challenge yet: an ultra marathon around the entire coast of Guernsey to raise funds for Bowel Cancer Guernsey.
Theo has chosen to support Bowel Cancer Guernsey because my uncle was recently diagnosed with bowel cancer. Seeing the impact that his diagnosis has had on him and their family has motivated him to do something positive, raise awareness and support other people in Guernsey who are affected by the disease.
Running is already a big part of his life, and have previously completed a marathon, however, running the entire loop of Guernsey will be my toughest challenge so far.
Theo will start along the cliffs before running up the west coast, following the northern paths and making my way back down towards Town. The run is planned for the end of August or beginning of September, with the final date being decided closer to the time depending on the weather.
Every donation, no matter the amount, will help Bowel Cancer Guernsey continue its important work supporting local people and raising awareness of bowel cancer.
