Headway London Marathon Runner Laura Gilbert

“I am incredibly proud to be running the London Marathon in support of Headway Guernsey.

My inspiration for choosing Headway comes from a close friend who works for the charity. Through her, I have seen first-hand the dedication, compassion and care that she, and the entire Headway team, put into supporting individuals and families affected by brain injury. Their commitment to helping others is truly inspiring.

Headway provides life-changing support, hope and encouragement when it is needed most, and I am honoured to help raise both funds and awareness for such an important cause. 

The London Marathon is an incredibly special event and having the opportunity to run it on behalf of Headway, while raising money for a service that plays such a vital role in our community, really is the icing on the cake.
