James Woolrich London Marathon 2027

James is thrilled to have the opportunity to run the London Marathon on Sunday, 25 April 2027, in support of Guernsey Mind. I've been unsuccessful in the ballot up to eight times now, but I've always been reluctant to apply for a charity place where the fundraising wouldn't benefit the island. This is a fantastic opportunity to raise money for a local cause.

I have used running to improve my physical and mental wellbeing over the years and the marathon is a good test of resilience for both. It’s great to know that in undertaking this challenge I’ll be able to raise funds and awareness for Guernsey Mind’s work locally.
